I have to say speaking from firsthand knowledge, these things are a GOD SEND.  I smoked for 15 years and "quit" overnight with a MMX e-cig. It feels like changing brands of cigs to one that doesn't hurt your throat. 

I see zero health risks from them, I mean after close to a year using it now I feel like I never smoked a day in my life now. I used to get terrible heart burn, sore lungs, be out of breath, have stained teeth.. basically every health effect you hear about from smoking.  Overall though, if you smoke USE THESE and don't let your government ban it. I quit and so did my entire family (smokers for 50+ years). I think these just saved our lives (aside from the nice little cardiovascular effects of nicotine, but hell caffeine does the same and no one flips out about me drinking a Tim Horton’s double-double or Starbucks double shot).

I just got a "Vapormaxx VMX" E-Cigarette on Monday. I haven't had a real cigarette since.

I hope these e-cigarettes are approved for nicotine replacement therapy. I've been using one for over a month now, and the thought of ever going back to a traditional tobacco cigarette is actually a little disturbing now. You get your fix, but with none of the lingering smell, bad breath, and general being treated like a leper. Also - the e-liquid is great. The suspension is vegetable glycerin and the nicotine liquid can be had in concentrations from zero-nicotine to high levels. So it can be used as a step-down program like patches or gum. These things are great and are much less harmful than the real thing.

I've been using a Vapormaxx VMX for three days now and I have not bought any tobacco cigarettes in 3 days. Nor do I want a real cigarette, these E-cigs work great. The gum and the patch just made me smoke more cigarettes so I think the E-cig is a great alternative

I have been using the MMX e-cig for 5 months. The first thing that everyone interested in these devices needs to know is that they do NOT taste anything like a regular cigarette, they taste much better. Secondly, beware of Propylene Glycol based e-juice. I had a nasty reaction after approximately three weeks using another brand of e-juice. I would be working on my computer and out of no where my teeth would start "ringing" as if I was chewing on a mouthful of tin foil. I stopped using the PG based e-fluid and switched to Vapormaxx vegetable glycerin based e-juice and all is well.

I personally use the VMX e-cigarette after a 30 year habit of 20 a day. I must say It works and it has been 3 months and I barely need to use the e-cigarette. I have cut down to twice a day.

I smoked 2 packs of cigarettes for 17 years. I tried EVERYTHING out there to quit smoking, nothing worked. I have been smoke free now for 193 days because of the Vapormaxx VMX e-cig. People do your research, it's a wonderful device. It's not perfect but if you want to truly quit or become healthier, at least try it. It's an awesome alternative.

"Tobacco smoke causes nearly 90 percent of lung cancer deaths, according to the American Cancer Society. "If it is a choice between smoking tobacco product or a nicotine replacement -- of course, keep taking the nicotine. "It is a heck of a lot healthier than tobacco smoking."  That says it all.

I own and use a Vapormaxx e-cig and all I can say is that I think they are a fantastic alternative to smoking the real deal. Also, they leave behind very little odor and don't offput other people by having it around them. In fact, a lot of people are fascinated by the concept and what it does. Sure, you look a little goofy smoking (if you can even call it that) one. But, I'll take it any day over the real thing.
